Learning About Perimeter

Today our class went out into the courts to learn about perimeters. We learned how to work out the perimeter of a retractile and a square. We also learned how to use stage 4, stage 5 and stage 6 strategies. The best part was 12m and 3m. We are learning  About perimeter.

My Maths Test


Today I did a Maths test with Mrs Manuyag.
I learned: 
  • I am just below for adding and subtraction.
  • I am below in my times tables. 
  • I am below in my fractions. 
My goal is now going to be to focus on moving up in multiplication and division, and in fractions. I am going to do this by choosing times tables and fraction games to practice. 

My Gas Presentation

How To Set Up A Fish Tank In A ClassRoom


Materials:
  • Fish tank
  • Fish food
  • Cold water
  • Goldfish
Step 1 Get at least a 10 to 20 gallon tank.
Step 2 Buy fish tank decor like rocks, caves, or plants.
Step 3 Buy water conditioner, stress coat, and goldfish food.
Step 4 Add water that has been treated with the conditioner.
Step 5  Let it sit for about a month so the tank can cycle.
Step 6 Add desired number of goldfish.
Step 7 Float the bag in the water for 15 minutes, then net the fish out and place them in the tank.
Step 8  Enjoy your fish!
Step 9  The water is 20" high.
Step 10 Get a water oxygen and they are 15 to 10 $.




Conclusion:

When you finished doing the fish tank you have to get a pic of the fish food and fed them.

The Rise Of The Gas

The rise of Gas.

With this experiment we are learning how to fill a balloon with gas from a pepsi bottle.

Materials:
  • Balloon.
  • Pepsi bottle.


Steps:

Step 1 Take of the bottle cap.
Step 2 Put the balloon on top of the pepsi bottle.Step 3 Wait till the balloon risers.
Step 4 Shake the bottle.
Step 5 Watch the balloon rise.


Conclusion:

When we put the balloon on the bottle of pepsi. The gas escaped into the balloon and it inflated a little bit. When we shook it some more gas made the balloon rise some more.

How to turn Solid to Liquid back to Solid Experiment


How to turn Solid to Liquid back to Solid.


with our experiment we were aiming to turn solid to liquid back to solid.
Materials:

  • Raro
  • Jug
  • Ice Block Sticks
  • Water
  • Cups
  • Wooden Spoons


                     Steps
Step 1: Open the raro packet.
Step 2 pour the raro packet into the jug.Step 3 Add the water too the jug.
Step 4 Use the wooden spoon to mix it all together until it dissolves.
Step 5   Pour the liquid into the cups.
Step 6  Add the ice block sticks into the cups.
Step 7 Put the cups into the freezer.
Step 8 Wait till it turns  solid then you can eat your ice block.

Conclusion  When you put the liquid into the freezer the cold temperature turns it into solid. Then you can eat the ice block.
